Temperament: BAB Temperament Test

  • Jean Ralphio has shown very sweet and hight human focus, both with people he knows well, and the temperament tester who was a stranger to him. He has medium to medium high human assertiveness - he came up to the tester and immediately got in her lap and licked her face - paws on her chest. He has a strong medium confidence, with a medium nerve strength as well. He has a nice low sight sensitivity - walked right up to and in the umbrella. He has higher sound sensitivity - he startled and looked to tester for information and recovery. He has a nice low/medium energy, and a low prey drive. He has a medium motivation drive - not really driven by treats but driven by tester’s attention and praise. He does have some barrier resistance - so this would be a good thing to work on a trainer with and will come up with crates and X pens. He tested high for touch tolerance (so most likely will be cuddly and good if kids pull and prod him) and human focus so he will love his people :).

Mona Lisa
Female

Temperament:

  • Mona Lisa is a very sweet, human focused pup. She has medium to medium/high human assertiveness - going right into the tester’s lap and giving kisses, and staying underfoot when she walked around. She has a medium high confidence in new situations, with low sight sensitivity (wasn’t too startled and immediately investigated) and medium sound sensitivity (initially startled but with reassurance, will investigate). She has a solid medium nerve strength and motivation (motivated by human connection and praise, not overly treat motivated). She has a medium high energy, so she will be super playful. She has a lower prey drive when humans are around (will rather play with humans instead of toys), but will play with toys if humans aren’t around. She has very high touch tolerance, so most likely will be cuddly and good with kids pulling on her. She does not like barriers, so asking a trainer about crate and x-pen training will be beneficial. She will love her people and is a very sweet, spunky, playful girl.
